The Lost Gardens of Heligan near St.Austell, Cornwall are one of the most popular botanical gardens in the UK. They were created by the Cornish Tremayne family from the mid-18th century and still form part of the family's Heligan estate. The gardens were sadly neglected after the First World War and only restored in the 1990s. This has been an ongoing process ever since. It attracts thousands of people every year and now they have the added excited bonus of several wedding licences for areas in the Gardens!! This is still a very new idea and is in the process of being advertised.
I had the pleasure of styling a shoot in the Gardens to show case the amazing spaces for Weddings. It was one of the hottest days of the year and the gardens looked incredible. This shoot is under wraps at the minute, but in the mean time I thought I'd share some beautiful images to inspire your garden wedding.
